What Makes Malleable Kimberlite Unique?
It isn’t just a name for our Kimberlite jewellery line; kimberlite in itself is a rare, volcanic rock formation where natural diamonds can be found. We draw inspiration from the rare kimberlite rock for our one-of-a-kind jewellery, which showcases gemstones set organically within gold.
And always true to our values, our kimberlite jewellery is made in Canada using ethical labour practices and sustainable materials.

Frequently Asked Questions About Malleable Kimberlite
How should I care for my Kimberlite jewellery?
As with all fine jewellery, caring for your pieces will make them last for generations and shine brightly the whole time. Our Kimberlite pieces are built to last, and the gemstones typically used including diamonds, sapphires, rubies, and garnets are very stable and durable stones. To care for your Malleable Kimberlite jewellery, we recommend storing your pieces in a soft pouch or separate compartment of your jewellery storage and avoiding sleeping in it to prevent bending or breakage.
To clean your jewellery, you can wipe the piece gently with a soft, lint-free cloth. You can use mild soap and water occasionally for deeper cleaning.
How does Malleable make Kimberlite Jewellery?
Our line of Kimberlite jewellery is created using a stone-in casting technique, which involves using a wax model and setting gemstones directly into it. Once this is complete, the gemstones are secured in place by molten metal, typically gold. This type of kimberlite stone setting is a non-traditional setting method, but the outcome is a truly unique piece that balances precision and spontaneity.
How can I create custom Kimberlite pieces with Malleable?
It all starts with a vision - bring yours and we can discuss how to bring it to life, or we can sit down and brainstorm what your unique piece will look like. Once we decide on the format (ring, necklace, or earrings) create a rough sketch of the end product, we can then select gemstones and put everything together to have our goldsmiths create your one-of-a-kind Kimberlite piece.
