John Esposito

Founder

John Esposito, founder of Malleable, has been with the studio since its inception in 2017, shaping both its creative vision and client experience from the ground up. As Jewellery Designer and Client Relations lead, John guides clients through the custom process with warmth, intuition, and a meticulous eye. He first entered the world of jewellery through an apprenticeship with a master goldsmith, drawn to the distinctive blend of fashion, art, and technical craftsmanship. His design style? Simply: unique. Known around the studio as “The Puzzle Solver,” he’s the go-to for creative challenges of any kind. Outside of work, John is a tenpin bowling enthusiast and proud owner of a restored 1950s carnival glass lamp he salvaged during a Fairmined conference in Brooklyn.

Alison Camilleri

Customer Service Representative

Alison Camilleri has been part of the Malleable family since 2018, bringing her signature wit, style, and unwavering trade show expertise to the team. Officially our Customer Service Representative, Alison runs the show at events and takes the lead on visual merchandising. With a personal style she lovingly describes as “mysterious aunt” meets “retired art teacher,” Alison was drawn to jewellery for its power to add edge and intrigue to any outfit, especially when channeling her inner witch at a 9 to 5. She has a soft spot for salt and pepper diamonds, the shimmer of black spinel, and the springlike hue of green sapphires. Outside of jewellery, Alison cross stitches thoughtful heirlooms for friends, bakes bread with love, and lives by the anthem Work Bitch by Britney Spears.

Lena Binnington

Content Writer & Editor

Lena Binnington joined Malleable in 2021, originally as a Bench Jeweller and now as the studio’s Content Writer & Editor. With a background at the bench and a deep appreciation for the craft, Lena brings a maker’s insight to every sentence she shapes. Her love for jewellery began with the joy of creating meaningful, tactile objects by hand. She still recalls the satisfaction of fixing a seemingly unfixable hollow earring for a client – a small but mighty victory that speaks to her quiet persistence and problem-solving spirit. Lena’s design style is influenced by her multidisciplinary arts background, as well as her interest in avant-garde fashion and the world around her. She is committed to building a creative practice rooted in sustainability and social equity. Her fun fact? She wishes she was an elf – and honestly, we kind of see it.

Michelle Sohn

Michelle Sohn

Creative and Art Director

Since joining Malleable in 2021, Michelle Sohn has worn many hats – starting as a Bench Jeweller, growing into the role of Studio Manager, and now thriving as the studio’s Creative and Art Director. In this latest role, they ensure Malleable’s brand image remains cohesive, intentional, and true to its values, while also guiding the design team in creating new collections that reflect the studio’s evolving vision. Their love of jewellery began in childhood, sparked by a fascination with geology, a habit of rummaging through their mom’s heirlooms, and a knack for crafting Swarovski accessories for friends. Their personal style leans geometric, with a soft spot for clean lines and sculptural signet rings. They favour working in 18k yellow gold, and are especially enchanted by the rich green glow of emeralds. Around the studio, they’re known as the Lead Chain-Untangler – a master of patience with serious talent.

Saydee Chandler

Saydee Chandler

Ingot Master

Saydee Chandler joined Malleable Jewellers in 2021 as a Bench Jeweller, bringing with her a deep material-focused approach to the craft. Saydee was originally drawn to goldsmithing by a desire to truly understand metal – to know what it’s made of, where it comes from, and how it behaves. Her creative process is rooted in curiosity, experimentation, and a hands-on relationship with her materials. She’s especially fond of working in 18k yellow gold, though lately she’s been exploring unconventional stones like marble and slate, often repurposed from everyday objects. Her favourite gemstone is opal, despite (or perhaps because of) the challenges it brings at the bench. Saydee’s personal design style is chaotic but functional, and around the studio, she’s known as the Ingot Master. Outside of work, she finds joy in metal detecting and digging holes just to see what’s hiding beneath the surface.

Lauren Donnelly

Lauren Donnelly

Studio Manager

Lauren Donnelly has been a vital part of the Malleable team since 2023, serving as our Studio Manager. From hands-on bench work and client communication to keeping our project management system running like a well-oiled machine, Lauren gets it all done. She was drawn to jewellery for the chance to create art with her hands and the endless opportunity for growth and learning the trade offers. A lover of lesser-known gems, Lauren champions the earthy and vibrant variety of garnets, especially the green ones. One of her proudest moments was remaking her father’s cherished, time-worn signet ring – a deeply meaningful project that reflects her skill and heart. She’s happiest working with yellow gold or experimenting with colourful metals like titanium and niobium. Outside the studio, crochet is her happy place.

Korinna Azreiq

Korinna Azreiq

CAD Designer

Korinna Azreiq joined Malleable in 2024 as our resident CAD Designer, bringing a sharp eye for detail and a deep love for all things sparkly. Known unofficially as the “CAD Ninja,” Korinna specializes in transforming bold ideas into precise digital models, ready for the bench. She’s especially passionate about lab-grown diamonds – drawn to their brilliance, eco-friendliness, and accessibility – and loves working in 18k gold. Her personal design style leans toward bold and modern, a perfect match for her proudest creation: a pair of 3D-printed interlocked earrings. When she’s deep in design mode, you might find Vivaldi’s Four Seasons: Summer playing in the background. Beyond jewellery, Korinna holds a BA in Anthropology and brings a curious, analytical mind to everything she does.

Rana Mireskandari

Rana Mireskandari

Gemsetter

Rana Mireskandari joined Malleable in 2025 as our Gemsetter, bringing with her a lifelong love of jewellery and an eye for fine detail. Known for her steady hands and sharp focus, Rana thrives when working with small components for long stretches – possibly to the soundtrack of her favourite retro gameshow, What’s My Line. She has a soft spot for spinels, admiring their beauty, durability, and underrated charm, and she especially enjoys working in 18k yellow gold. Her proudest creation? A meaningful pair of earrings she crafted using heirloom stones for her mom. With a geometric design style and quiet dedication, she brings precision and warmth to everything she touches. Off the bench, Rana is a jigsaw puzzle enthusiast.
