Design Consultation
The first step in creating custom jewellery is discussing the design. It’s a good idea to think about what you like (and what you dislike), as well as your budget, before coming to our studio. Photos of jewellery designs you love help give us a good sense of what appeals to you, but if you’re not sure where to begin, we’re here to help. Ethics and sustainability are at the heart of every piece of jewellery we make, so if you want to upcycle stones or metals, bring them with you. If you’d rather recycle those stones or metals, we can do that for you, giving you a credit towards your custom jewellery.
Design Review
We’ll create a sketch of your concept so you can visualize the profile, stone placement and setting style.
Choosing Gemstones
With the design approved, we’ll source the perfect stones from either our own recycled stock or from our ethically focused suppliers based on origin, quality and budget.
Digital Design
Malleable Jewellers uses Computer Aided Design software to create a 3D digital rendering of your piece. You’ll have a chance to review the rendering and make any final minor adjustments.
Finishing Your Piece
From casting and metal finishing to stone setting and final polishing, our goldsmiths will bring your design to life, ensuring every detail is perfect.
